Healing and prosperity
Psalm 23 shows us how much God cares for his sheep.
The believers are compared to sheep in the bible and God and Jesus Christ is their shepherd.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. (Psalm 23:1-3, NKJV).
The "green pastures" and the "still waters" are the food and drink that God gives to his children, He provides for their needs.
God heals their psychical wounds; He "restores" their "soul".
Jesus said : "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." (John 10:9, NKJV)
Unlike the thief who comes "to steal, and to kill, and to destroy", Jesus is the good shepherd who gives us life "abundantly" (John 10:10).
