Mary

The angel Gabriel told Mary that she would give birth to the son of the living God:

Then the angel said, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end." (Luke 1:30-33, NKJV)

After the angel spoke to her, Mary said of herself: "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her." (Luke 1:38, NKJV).

Mary called herself a servant of the Lord, she believed what the angel told her and she wanted to obey God.

When Jesus was conceived in her womb through the Holy Spirit, she was a virgin. Her husband did not touch her before Jesus' birth. Mary was not a virgin any longer when she gave birth to her children. It is Jesus who is the saviour of the world, the only begotten son of God.
