Mary

The angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would give birth to the son of the living God:

Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end." (Luke 1:30-33, NKJV)

After the angel spoke to her, Mary said of herself: "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her." (Luke 1:38, NKJV).

Mary called herself a servant of the Lord, that is to sayc a woman who belived and obeyed God. When Jesus was conceived in her wom through the Holy Spirit, she was a virgin. Her husband did not touch her until after Jesus' birth. And she lost her virginity. It is Jesus who is the Saviour of the world. God hears the prayers done to Him in the name of Jesus. ""Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you." (John 16:23, NKJV).
