Baptism with the Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ baptizes with the Holy Spirit. When he died on the cross, he was raised from the dead and went to heaven to send the Holy Spirit (John 16:7). John the Baptist who prepared the way for Jesus Christ said that Jesus would baptize men with the Holy Spirit:

"I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." (Matthew 3:11, NKJV).

God gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask him (Luke 11:13).

Peter saw the manifestation of the Holy Spirit as Cornelius and a group of people started praising God and speaking in tongues (Acts 10:44-46).

The Holy Spirit gives life to our mortal bodies (Romans 8:11).

The Holy Spirit gives us the power to become children of God:

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12-13, NKJV).
